Calm Meditation Practice for PBHP Members with Annette Henry, accredited CALM Coach

Wednesday 23rd March 2022, 7pm GMT London

Join Annette Henry, accredited CALM Coach and Whole Plant Food Nutrition Educator and Rohini Bajekal, Nutritionist and Communications Lead at PBHP UK for this Calm Meditation Practice from 7pm UK time on Wednesday 23rd March. Please note this live virtual event is for PBHP Members only.

Calm Meditation is a simple technique to train awareness which can be used with eyes open or closed. Greater awareness leads to more time spent in the present moment and thus reduces time spent in a busy mind which is often a source of stress and anxiety.

There is no requirement for specialist equipment or clothing and it doesn’t involve any specific position to take part; most people sit comfortably on an upright chair. It is suitable for any age and is applicable to those who are completely new to meditation or those who already have some experience.

After a brief introduction, Annette will move onto the meditation technique itself and how to train awareness, followed by a partially guided 30 minute practice. Questions are welcome.
