About the speaker

Rosie is a UK Registered Dietitian based in the South-West of England.

Following a career as a zoologist working internationally in animal behaviour, Rosie moved into the area of human nutrition and qualified as a registered dietitian in 2017. Rosie has worked full-time in the NHS for 4 years in varying roles and specialties, including on acute hospital wards, running community clinics and specialised IBS clinics, as well as supporting people living with and beyond cancer. She now continues to work in the NHS in the innovative role of Occupational Health & Wellbeing Dietitian for NHS staff where she works to promote the importance of good nutrition for health & wellbeing at home and at work.

Rosie specialises in the areas of plant based nutrition and wellbeing, working alongside chefs and best-selling authors The Happy Pear, with gastroenterologist and plant-based diet advocate Dr Alan Desmond behind the scenes of his new book ‘The Plant Based Diet Revolution’, as well as sitting on the advisory board for Plant Based Health Professionals UK. Rosie is passionate about plant based nutrition for human health, planetary health, and for ethical reasons.

Rosie is a strong advocate for evidence-based nutrition. Having worked in gut health clinics, and living with coeliac disease herself, Rosie understands the importance of ensuring the correct nutrition information is available to support individuals to make optimal choices around food.
