Participants will learn about the best available evidence on different ways to help people who smoke quit smoking, including pharmacotherapies, behavioural support, and e-cigarettes with nicotine. They will also learn about the benefits of quitting smoking.

About the speaker
Jamie is an Assistant Professor in Health Policy and Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and holds an honorary post at the University of Oxford. Her research primarily focuses on applied evidence synthesis for health policy, with particular emphasis on tobacco control and electronic cigarettes. Jamie collaborates closely with Cochrane and leads several research programs centred on smoking cessation and electronic cigarettes. Additionally, she is involved in developing methods for evidence synthesis and primary research, including both quantitative and qualitative synthesis, as well as efforts to incorporate equity considerations into systematic reviews.
