About the speaker

Dr Sonia Gandhi graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1997 and has worked as a GP since 2001. Since then she has developed a special interest in dermatology and has gained extensive clinical experience in this area during her role as a GP Clinical Assistant in Dermatology at Hillingdon Hospital and as a GPwSI in Dermatology at St Charles Hospital (part of the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust).

She was awarded a merit/ departmental commendation for the Cardiff University Diploma in Practical Dermatology course in 2008 and now works as a tutor on this esteemed course.

Her interest in lifestyle medicine led her to complete the e-Cornell Nutrition and Plant-based nutrition courses and the Winchester University Plant Based Nutrition Course. She is a Board-Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician (BSLM/IBM).
