About the speaker

Sam qualified as a dietitian in 2017 and is currently working as a paediatric dietitian at Bristol Children’s Hospital in the UK. Her current role is split between inpatient and outpatient work where she sees children with a wide variety of conditions including renal disease, respiratory issues, selective eating, faltering growth and tube feeding. Her specialist interest is plant-based diets for children and has recently given a talk at the British Dietetic Association’s Annual General Meeting on this subject.

Sam has been vegan for 15 years and is currently raising a vegan toddler. Sam has been published in a number of publications including Women’s Health, Which? and Dietetics Today. She has also given talks at Vegfest and contributed to the Winchester Plant-based nutrition course on behalf of PBHP UK.
