About the speaker

Beth is a trained physiatrist, health and wellness coach & expert in LM. She serves as an assistant clinical professor at Harvard Medical School, where she has received multiple teaching awards. A pioneer in her field, Beth was elected president of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine in 2020 and served as President-Elect until November 2022. She founded the first LM Interest Group at Harvard Medical School and developed and teaches a college curriculum in LM at Harvard Extension School.

Beth has co-authored several books on LM (The Lifestyle Medicine Handbook: An Introduction to the Power of Healthy Habits, PAVING the Path to Wellness Workbook: A Guide to Thriving with a Healthy Body, Peaceful Mind, and Joyful Heart & the Lifestyle Medicine Pocket Guide. She is a highly regarded speaker at national and international medical conferences.
