Tomato and basil toast
This one is so delicious but you must love garlic to appreciate it fully!
- 2 large slices of whole grain bread
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 large tomatoes
- A handful of fresh basil leaves
- A wedge of lemon
- Black pepper
- Himalayan pink salt (optional)
Step by Step Instructions
Chop the tomatoes and basil and mix in a bowl. Squeeze lemon juice on top and add some black pepper and a little salt.
Peel the garlic clove and cut in half.
Toast the bread and when it comes out hot, rub the cut end of the garlic over on side of the bread, use as little or much as you want.
Top with the tomato mix and a nice basil leaf on top – enjoy!
