What is veganic?
‘Veganic’ is a combination of two words ‘vegan’ and ‘organic’. It’s a guarantee that food is grown in an organic way with only plant-based fertilizers, encouraging functional biodiversity so pesticides are not necessary. No chemicals, no GMO and no animal by products in any part of the chain.
Veganic food is resilient to the largest problems facing humanity i.e. environmental destruction, pollution of the sea and air and soil erosion.
Veganic otherwise we are dependent on animal agriculture, chemicals, pesticides and herbicides.
In essence, veganic is a logical step beyond organic for those who seek safe food grown in a sustainable manner.

The Vegan Women’s Leadership Network is a membership-based global ethical leadership community for vegan women committed to lifting each other up, having each other’s backs, collaborating and learning from each other.
Women for Women’s Health
Women for Women’s Health (WfWH) is a voluntary service set up by UK based Consultant Gynaecologist Dr Nitu Bajekal, MD, FRCOG and Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician. Her mission is to empower women to make health choices that will help not just improve their own health but also that for their families, friends and community.
Information is shared through social media, blogs and open discussion, as well as via health events and talks for the public, doctors, workplaces and schools – all key areas to influence change.
Most (80%) of what doctors see in their clinical practice is related to lifestyle, with nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress playing key roles in major chronic health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, cancers as well as in women’s health issues such as Polycystic ovarian syndrome, menopause, bone health, lifestyle cancers amongst many other problems that women face regularly. Dr Bajekal advocates following a whole food plant based way of eating for optimal health.
Working alongside other health professionals such as experienced nutritionists, yoga and mindfulness teachers, personal trainers as well as other senior medical specialists, Dr Bajekal offers the latest medical information about gynaecological conditions and gives nutrition and lifestyle advice to women all over the world.
Young people especially are at the right stage where making small changes can have a tremendous impact on their future health. Inner city schools are a specific focus of attention for the WfWH team seeking to energise and build confidence in young women.
